As we move into 2019, our wounds from 2018 will be highlighted, and we will be pushed to work through them. The year to come is going to be a very intense one and as time goes by we will be growing in a number of ways.

We are in the midst of a huge energy shift and while you might feel a bit stressed, as time passes this will die down. A lot of influences will be coming forth, and you have to really give yourself a moment to allow things to really sink in before you move on from here. The first few months of 2019 will be a bit confusing and should not be taken into things too quickly.

Many opportunities will be coming forth and you will be encouraged to really go to great lengths to get things done. If you work with these energies and allow them to do things for you in your life you will be finding success and awareness. This year will be very different from 2018 as it will be much more generous and able to inspire you to get things done.

If you’ve been wanting to get out of your comfort zone or go travel go ahead and make plans. The whole 2019 is going to have you acting in a much more curious manner. You will be teaching others how to come out of their shells and in that also working to finally come out of yours. Nothing will be as it has been.

Cafe Astrology wrote as follows in regards to the energies of 2019:

Uranus more officially moves from Aries to Taurus in 2019 after a back-and-forth transition period last year. It completes its journey of Aries on March 6, 2019, when it enters Taurus for the long haul. Uranus in Taurus is bound to shake up our attitude towards money and personal possessions, and it’s a time for bold innovations in these areas. We can expect changes to what we value on non-material levels as well, and we’re inclined to value ourselves in new ways through the course of this transit that lasts until April 2026.

For most of 2019, eclipses fall along the Cancer-Capricorn axis, and this is particularly interesting with the continued strong emphasis on Capricorn this year. This set of eclipses calls on us to seek a better balance between our attention to the outside world or our professional/public lives and our focus on developing our personal lives, family, or domestic/inner world. The final eclipse in the Leo-Aquarius set occurs in January with a Lunar Eclipse in Leo, which serves as a final thrust towards balancing romance and friendship, individual and group efforts, as well as personal and impersonal expression. With the North Node in Cancer all of 2019 (until May 2020), we are called upon to feed our foundation–all of that which we call “home,” including the foundation we have built inside of ourselves, needs to be tended to and honored. We need to pay more attention to our instincts, our deepest needs, and our feelings; and to recognize the importance of our family and our personal circle of friends and the security, sense of belonging, and safety we derive from them.

While in 2018 both Venus and Mars were retrograde, 2019 is free of these apparent backward-moving cycles for these planets. Of course, it has its usual Mercury retrograde cycles and the retrogrades of the outer planets, as well, but the absence of retro Venus and Mars cycles tends to leave us feeling a little freer and less blocked. Love and desire seem a little more straightforward than it did last year.

This whole year to come will be ushering in new dreams and hopes for us all. We will be more content and more prepared for the things to come. As 2018 comes to an end we should be preparing ourselves for the year to come and engaging with one another on a deeper level. While you will be finding a lot of strength during this time, also remember that there is nothing wrong with accepting help when you need it.

Everything that happens in our lives happens for a different reason. You are well on your way to something amazing, do not lose yourself.
