We’re all afraid of different things but when it comes to the signs they seem to have their own specifics when it comes to the fear of love as a whole. Each sign based on its traits seems to fear things about love that might not make sense to the rest.
Below I am going to go over each zodiac sign and why those born under them are afraid of love. While not all of us are afraid of love, chances are you’ve felt these things at some point or another. For me, this is pretty spot-on, and for the people in my life, it really reveals a lot.
Aries
As an Aries, when it comes to love you’re afraid of letting someone too close that isn’t as driven as you. You’re afraid that you won’t be able to hold others up even if they’re somewhat already holding themselves up. While this might sound crazy you really do work better on your own and you know that all too well.
Taurus
As a Taurus, you’re scared of love because you don’t like letting people close. Opening up for you is hard and once you do it you feel like you’re revealing too much. You struggle with trust and it really holds you back big time.
Gemini
As a Gemini, when it comes to love you always dive in too quickly and in the past have hurt yourself big time over it. You are scared for a lot of reasons but the biggest one is that you don’t like knowing that other people have your secrets when you’re in love. You give too much too quickly and far too easily.
Cancer
As a Cancer, love is something you do much harder than others. You tend to fall for people who don’t deserve you and you are afraid of your loyalty being taken for granted. You struggle to find people who are on your level and it really shows.
Leo
As a Leo, you’re afraid of love because you’re scared of being unappreciated. You know your worth and you don’t think that other people see it as properly as they should. You don’t want them to fall for the idea of you, you want them to fall for the real you.
Virgo
As a Virgo, you’re terrified of people falling in love with you because you don’t think you deserve love. You feel inadequate and as a result, you shut yourself off from love a lot. You don’t let people in as much as you should.
Libra
As a Libra, you’re not very open to sharing your emotions with the people in your life. You are afraid of pushing someone away because you can’t open up properly and so you end up doing exactly that anyway. For you love has always been something you’ve been on the fence about for a lot of reasons.
Scorpio
As a Scorpio, you’re afraid of being left behind. You always feel like there is something going on behind your back and that’s a feeling you struggle to shake. You’re not one to let go easily and you hold on a bit tighter to love than you should which bites you in the rear end.
Sagittarius
As a Sagittarius, you’re one of those people who jumps ship when times get hard. You’re afraid of someone becoming tired of cleaning up your messes so you leave them in the dust before they get the chance to figure you out. This leaves you wondering what could have been and grasping for something new time after time.
Capricorn
As a Capricorn, you’re someone that is afraid of love because you like things as they are. You’re afraid of change and you don’t know what life would be like if you had someone to be with all the time. Sure, it sounds nice but it’s not something you’re interested in jumping into just yet. You need to take your time.
Aquarius
As an Aquarius, you’re scared of love because you don’t truly think it exists. Sure, you know family love is real but true love is a concept you don’t know much about. You’ve been through some toxic situations and going back to those places keeps you on edge in your own mind.
Pisces
As a Pisces, you’re scared love will change too much in your life. You like things how they are and you want your time to yourself. Sure, the idea sounds good but it’s not easy for you to consider. You don’t know how to jump without putting yourself in water that is way too deep to swim.
