There are 12 months in each year and thus 12 different birthstones, 1 for each. Depending on the month you were born your birthstone could be anything from Tanzanite to Amethyst.
Our birthstones reveal a good bit about us while we, for the most part, are not aware of that. Each one holds deep meaning that was and is passed down traditionally. If you have never looked into the world surrounding this kind of thing, perhaps you should in order to get to know yourself a bit better.
Below I am going to go over each birthstone and the month it lines up with. Which one is yours and does it sound like you? Mine is spot on!
January – Garnet
This deep and intense stone shows us that you are a fiery force to be reckoned with. You are very hard to pin down and easy to be around. People usually consider you to be a very emotional person that is quick to really mix things up.
February – Amethyst
This stone comes in a couple of different forms and really makes it known that you are always willing to be there for the people you care about. You are very helpful and unique in your own ways. While you might not be the best at opening up, you put forth a good effort.
March – Aquamarine
This stone shows us that you are a very calm person that really holds his or her own. You are often the person that lightens the mood before you and always making sure situations are not getting too intense. You’re someone many people look to for guidance.
April – Diamond
This stone is one of the most sought after in this world. People love it and it is strong. You very much like this stone are lucky and driven. You want success above all else and are always doing your best to grow.
May – Emerald
This stone makes it clear that you are someone that is always honest. You are refreshing for a number of reasons and until you’ve had enough you are someone everyone enjoys being near. You might have your negative side but it doesn’t outweigh the positive side in any way.
June – Pearl
This stone shows us that you are someone who puts up a serious wall around yourself. You don’t like letting other people in and you try too hard to be perfect. We all make mistakes but you really take yours to heart. You are capable of so much, you need to realize that.
July – Ruby
This stone makes us aware of how courageous you are but also how fragile. You don’t realize the things going on around you until it’s too late and that holds you back big time. You might not be as focused as you should be and you are a bit too thoughtful.
August – Peridot
This stone brings hope to all who embrace it and you are very full of exactly that. You are someone people go to in order to really pump themselves up. When the world has someone down, you know how to bring a smile to their face.
September – Sapphire
You’re a very complex person and this stone makes that clear. You do not like to surround yourself with people and you are usually a very reclusive individual. While you like to go on adventures and be yourself, you also really struggle with putting your own happiness first in life.
October – Opal
This stone shows us that you are a bit too eager to move forward. You do not fear much if anything at all and it makes you more willing to really dive into the unknown. Most people cannot handle you for this reason.
November – Topaz
This stone is one that shows us how intense life is for you. You take everything to heart and are not usually willing to let go. You might seem strong but you are hiding a lot of pain within all the time.
December – Tanzanite
This stone is one that you do not see often and it reveals to us that you are a very vulnerable person whether you show it or not. You spend a lot of time thinking about the things other people say and do. While you try hard to be strong, you’re a bit more emotional than you want to admit.
