The idea of naming something after your ex might sound like a bad idea to many, but it is extremely popular this Valentine’s Day!

You can have a salmon named after an ex and fed to a brown bear, a snake named after your ex, a worm that will be fed to a hamster or the wildly popular cockroach. If you are still bitter about your ex then the El Paso Zoo is here to help out! They will name a cockroach after your ex, and then you can watch it be fed to a meerkat on Valentine’s Day.

They started displaying the names on February 11th, but on February 14th at 2:15 p.m., they will stream it live on Facebook! What more could you ask for?

“This is a fun way to get the community involved in our daily enrichment activities,” the El Paso Zoo event coordinator, Sarah Borrego, told CBS News. “The meerkats love to get cockroaches as a snack and what better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than by feeding them a cockroach named after your ex!”

If you want to get in on the action all you have to do is send the El Paso Zoo a message on Facebook. You let them know the first name and the initial of the last name of your ex.

Since last week there have been more than 1,500 names submitted! So many names that there are too many for the meerkats to eat and they have decided to spread the love to the other zoo animals.

“We’ve had a TREMENDOUS response to our Quit Bugging Me event! So much that we have decided to spread the love to some of our other zoo animals! We’ll keep you posted on feeding times next week!” El Paso Zoo Facebook post.

If you want to watch for yourself be sure to tune into the Livestream on February 14th. Don’t miss one of the funniest shows of the year!
