It’s getting close to springtime and while that means that flowers will begin to bloom, days will grow longer and life will begin to spring back into action once more, it also means that the pink moon is drawing closer. On April 6th, the full moon will be upon us, and it is under the sign of Libra.

The April full moon is traditionally called the full Pink moon because, during the times in which native tribes were figuring out the world around them, they used different names to understand the moon and the time of year surrounding it. Due to the beautiful pink blooms on the flowers that would begin to grow during this time, they dubbed the moon the Pink moon.

This moon has a lot of meaning behind it, far beyond that. One interesting thing worth noting is that during this time, the Sun is in Aries and the moon is in Libra. Aries represents the self and Libra represents others, according to Cafe Astrology, and during this time, we need to strike a balance between ourselves and our relationships.

During this time, it is important to make sure you aren’t attending to only your needs and allowing others to fall behind, and that you aren’t doing the opposite either. There is a need for balance to have a healthy relationship with yourself and with others. The key is harmony. Additionally, during this time, you can expect major epiphanies surrounding your relationships.

Uranus will be in harmony with the Sun and the moon, and Jupiter and Chiron will be in alignment with the Sun during this lunation. This will push us forward onto the path of healing, which will aid in finding harmony from within and also within our relationships.
