The human brain is composed of two major aspects, the conscious mind, and the subconscious mind. Our conscious thoughts are the ones we are aware of, and the subconscious mind is what lies beneath the surface.

Oftentimes, we have no idea what is going on in our subconscious mind until it surfaces due to a trigger. One of the easiest ways to access the subconscious thoughts, according to psychoanalysts like Sigmund Freud and Hermann Rorschach, is through symbolism.

Animals are powerful symbols and archetypes for us humans because we can relate to them on a very deep level. Below, I have listed an optical illusion. Included in it are many animals, and the first one you see has a lot to do with what triggers you towards anger.

Take a look at it, and clear your mind. What is the first thing you see?

The Bear


You have an adventurous spirit and love to change things up. While you can be quick to anger, it doesn’t take you long to move forward. Your major triggers are disrespectful people, especially to those you love.



You aren’t typically very confrontational, so it takes a lot to set you off. However, when someone disregards you or takes you for granted, that is a major trigger for you. Especially when they have mistaken your kindness for weakness.



You have a heart of gold and are oftentimes completely selfless. But, when others continue to step all over you, it can trigger your anger. You are naturally empathic and even intuitive, but you aren’t one to let people run all over you.



As someone who is highly emotional, you can be extremely quick to anger. You don’t mind voicing how you feel either, and little things set you off. However, once you have your moment, voice your feelings and get it off your chest, you move forward.



You are a highly original thinker and someone who is very unique. One of your major triggers is someone who pretends to be something they are not or people who are unauthentic to themselves and others. But, when you are angry, you don’t often show it, unless you get upset.



You are a fast learner and someone quick on their feet. Your mind moves quickly, and so do you. You cannot stand slow people though, and you hate repeating yourself. If someone doesn’t understand you or makes you fall behind, you are easily angered.



Most people assume you are shy, however, that isn’t the case. You are just a quiet person who is very contemplative and a deep thinker. You cannot stand when people try to make you the center of attention or call you out for being quiet or withdrawn.



You are someone who has high aspirations. You have high expectations for yourself and others, and when people fail to meet your expectations, it can be frustrating to you.



Most people presume you are someone who is intimidating or even mean. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. You are a genuinely sweet person with a great heart. You can’t stand seeing people being treated unfairly and injustice sets you off.



You are extremely energetic and high energy. You love making other people laugh, and can’t stand negativity and complainers. People who bring negative vibes around you are quick to set you off.



Because of your kind and gentle soul, you have high expectations of others. Well, not really high expectations, you simply expect what you put in. When others fail to match your kindness with kindness, it makes you quick to anger.
