Most succulents in general look like something straight out of Alice In Wonderland, this one takes the cake. Most people assume these plants have been cut to look as they do, but the truth is, they actually grow to look similar to roses.

These rose succulents are called Greenovia Dodrentalis and their layers look like petals that make them appear just as your average rose but green instead of bright reds and other colors. That having been said, the gorgeous greens it comes with are quite the sight.

This plant is also called Aeonium Dodrantale and the ‘mountain rose’ but no matter what you call it, it’s still pretty spectacular. This succulent is native to the Canary Islands according to Sublime Succulents and for those who might be unaware, the Canary Islands are located just off the coast of Spain. This type of succulent does best in warmer areas as it cannot tolerate the cold as well as others. If exposed to prolonged cold they will die.

As you can see in the images below this plant in itself looks like something out of this world. Ever since they became viral online these plants have been in even higher demand than usual so getting your hands on them might not be as easy as you’d expect. While they might be a bit picky about the weather overall they’re not hard to grow and if you’re lucky enough to get your hands on some I am sure you’ll have no issue finding people who also want some.
