As we get closer to the end of the month, there is a deep energetic shift beginning to take place. Not only will we go through the full pink moon in Libra, but there will also be a solar eclipse on April 30.

While a full moon alone comes with a massive energetic shift, the solar eclipse is quite powerful alone. Since these two events will coincide with one another, this is a time of transformation, to say the least.

When most people consider the solar eclipse, they think of how amazing the view will be in the sky. However, the effects of a solar eclipse go far beyond just astronomy. On a spiritual level, eclipses are considered to be portals to spiritual and personal growth.

During these times, we can expect major changes, many of which are fated.

Astrologically speaking, the Sun represents focus, life, self-expression, and our goals. The solar eclipse is going to fall under the sign of Taurus, which is a sign that is logical, patient, and a bit stubborn. On the surface, Taurus energy is all about practicality, however, beneath the surface, the energy of Taurus is also intensely driven.

This solar eclipse is pushing us to find a way to calmly approach our lives in a way that is both efficient in the practical realm, and also beneath the surface in the very core of our being.

This eclipse will take place on April 30, not many days after the full pink moon in Libra takes place on April 16.

Libra is the sign of partnership and balance, and the energy between Libra and Taurus actually works quite well together. With Taurus being a sign that is logical and Libra being a sign that is focused on fairness and balance, there is an energetic push during this time to find a way through. Using both our pragmatic traits and our diplomatic side, we are able to see our obstacles in a new light during this time, which gives us a deep advantage.

Change can be scary, that much is true. But, in the end, change is necessary for growth. And without growth, life can seem pretty meaningless.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I am not saying that we should be tearing ourselves apart to be something else. On the contrary, there is nothing wrong with who you are. However, change is inevitable. And whatever obstacles are blocking you from your dreams are just that obstacles. They are not impossibilities. During this time, focus on working through the obstacles that life presents you with and use them to your advantage.

While some change is inevitable, there is almost always a lesson to behold and use.
