As you may know, there is a new moon coming up and because of that new moon to come, it is important to remind you all that if you want to heal your karma or help yourself grow that will be the moment when you should use your personal energy to do-so. New moons hold lots of powers, powers that most people spend most of their lives overlooking.
Below I am going to go over one of the most amazing new moon rituals I have ever had the privilege to carry out. This is one of my personal favorites and I try to do it at least once every other new moon. It does not require a lot of ‘things’ but does a lot of good for the lives of all of us.
If you have been wanting to work with the energies surrounding you now is your chance. This new moon ritual will really benefit you greatly. You can do much more than you realize when it comes to the energetic world.
New Moon Cleansing Ritual:
Paper & Pen
On the night of the new moon as the darkness is making itself known sage your area be this indoors or outdoors. Put the water into the bowl and add some salt. Make sure it is warm water but not overly warm, you should be able to put your hands in it without it hurting you. As you sit really think about your karma and the things going on in your life. Mix the salt and really focus your mind.
Write down on the paper anything you want to get out or anything that might be holding you back. Cover every inch if you need to. Really express yourself and write out all the karmic wrongs you want to reverse and all the growth you have to still find. Once you have done this and gotten everything out properly sit in silence and call on the new moon energies before you to help you cleanse.
Invite these energies into your being and using your mind’s eye really see them within your veins pulsating through your being. Submerge the paper in the water with the salt and mix it in slowly until the paper isn’t really there anymore and the water is murky and full. Pour this outside and from there smudge with sage once more. Now, the more you do this the better you will feel. Even just after the first run, you will feel as though a weight has been lifted.
