In this day and age, toxic relationships are far more present than most people realize. While getting into them is seemingly easy, getting out of them can be extremely complicated and painful.

Toxic relationships come in many different forms. Some of them are physically traumatic and others can be seemingly emotionally scarring. The more time you spend in them the more damaged you become and that’s not something we want to face.

If you have ever been through some kind of toxic relationship and managed to come out on top and find a way to break free from your poison person, you are a powerful being. You are so much stronger than you might have ever imagined and you are going to grow so much through the things you’ve faced. Sure, it will take some time to get back to normal but eventually, the pain you felt because of that person and that connection will no longer hold any kind of control over you.

Remaining in a toxic relationship is easy but holding your own and fighting back so that you can overcome that relationship, is something that only those who truly want to find themselves are capable of. If you’re not happy you need to find a way out and if you’re being manipulated or abused, time is of the essence. You deserve to be happy and comfortable in your life and in your relationships, the opposite is not something you should ever be willing to put up with.

If you were able to free yourself from someone who was always demanding, controlling, and working to break you down then you won in the end. You should be proud of yourself for fighting back and being true to yourself. You are capable of so much and in the end, you found your strength within and used it to your advantage.

That having been said, if you’re still stuck, it’s never too late. You too can find yourself through moving on and letting go of the person who is causing your heart so much pain. This life is far too short to spend your life with someone who refuses to see you for who you truly are.

Just because you might not see a way out, there is always something that can be done. Toxic people do their best to isolate us and break us down, the sooner we realize that the sooner we can work to reconnect and build ourselves back up. You deserve the efforts you put forth in return and nothing less.

As a human being, you are capable of so much more than you realize. You can overcome the things you’re facing and if you got out of a toxic situation you are already on your way to becoming the version of yourself that you’ve always wanted to be. Life goes on after these kinds of relationships even if it might not seem like it, be proud of yourself and really grow through the experiences you’ve had in this life.
