Venus is in Aries right now and will remain there until May 15th when it moves into Taurus. This is going to be bringing forth a lot of emotion and for some of us, that is a very bad thing.

Venus for those who do not know is the Goddess of love. Venus rules over the things we value and the pleasures we find in our lives. When the powers of Venus and Aries come together we can all expect to be thrown out of whack romantically.

It is impossible to ignore the influence this coupling brings and with good reason. Chances are during the time that Venus is in Aries you will either be very drawn to someone you’re already with or trying to be with on a level you have not felt before or you will experience a sense of loss. Many of us are forced to turn outward and focus on our own needs but others dive deep into their partners and the world of love.

Tarot.com wrote as follows in regards to Venus in Aries and what might be expected:

Many astrologers consider Venus in Aries to be a difficult placement because Venus’ calm, soft sweetness just doesn’t align with the rambunctious and self-focused style of Aries. While Venus normally thrives on cooperation and two-way partnerships, her placement in Aries triggers a time to practice self-love. It’s about putting yourself first, trying new things, and discovering what will satisfy you most. After all, it’s only when you understand, love, and embrace yourself that you draw the best things into your life — and that’s what Venus in Aries is all about.

When Venus moves through Aries, the first sign of the zodiac, it offers us all a chance to make a fresh start in matters of love, money, and self-awareness. Old patterns and lackluster relationships have no place anymore once Venus enters Aries. Instead, we thrive on new experiences and adventurous encounters, and we’re more spontaneous in our pursuit of pleasure.

Aries is a highly independent sign that is largely focused on itself and its own interests. Therefore, love and relationships can sometimes seem selfish or imbalanced during Venus’ transit through Aries. But for the single lover, this can be an amazing time to identify your own needs and explore your options — Venus in Aries ignites a courageous fire under us that makes us more confident and assertive when meeting and interacting with others. And for those in relationships, exploring each other’s personal desires and experiencing new things together is a surefire way to reignite the fire between you. So while it seems like there’s a very self-centered air to Venus in Aries, it’s really about enhancing your love life by way of yourself.

During the time that these two are together, you will be much more daring and willing to express yourself which is going to get you a lot further than you might realize at the moment. All of the zodiac signs are going to be feeling the power this coupling has to offer and while the transit itself will differ for each of us, we will all benefit in one way or another.

During this time remember to be as true to your heart as possible and allow your inner voice to take charge. Chances are you’re already feeling more confident and more willing to get out there, this is only going to grow as the days pass. Enjoy this transit while you can and allow it to bring you to a new place in the world of love.

That being said, if you are one of the few signs that will be closing off during this time, do not obsess over the areas in which you feel you are lacking. You are capable of providing those you care for with the love they need but focusing on yourself right now is more important. Sometimes self-care can be painful but in the end, it is going to do more good than bad.

If you’re conflicted right now do some serious meditating and work to figure out where you need to go next. Life is never easy but sometimes the celestial world offers us exactly what we need. Will you accept or will you allow these energies to run rampant and then pass on by? For more information on this interesting combination please feel free to check out the video below.
