I know, in this day and age it’s hard to be the person you want to be, and along your journey to figure out what direction you’re headed in the people around you will pull you all different types of ways, but you must remain strong. Don’t let the world around you tell you that you have to be skinny, feminine, or anything else.

Just because you’re a woman does not mean you have to fit into any stereotype. You can find happiness in your own ways and if the people in your life refuse to let you be happy, they do not deserve your time or efforts in the first place. Stop listening to the things that those who do not matter have to say, at the end of the day you’re the only person who truly has to deal with the things you do.

The road to being true to yourself is going to be paved with uncertainty but that’s actually part of what makes it so special. If you’re not content, make the changes you think will help you reflect things more properly. Try and if you fail, try again.

If you feel stuck, do what you think you need to do to fix that and stop wasting your time on this planet. Live every day to the fullest in the ways you see fit. Do not let anyone tell you cannot do something because you’re a woman and never think that you’re meant to be closed off and sheltered because you were not born a man. I know, it can be hard to break free and hold your own, but you are more than capable.

For the longest time, I let the people in my life hold me back and now that I am doing the things I love and working towards a life I can be proud of, I am finally happy. I spent far too many years looking for peace of mind in the wrong places and honestly, I wish I knew when I was younger the things I know now.

You are the only person in this world who knows what is best for YOU. Be more in the moment and take life by the horns. Tomorrow is not promised and if you want to live on the edge or focus on a specific goal, you should be free to do exactly that. You deserve a life that you can be proud of and if you work hard enough you can have exactly that.

Your wants are unique to you as a person and you should keep that in mind moving forward. What works for you might not work for someone else and vice versa. As long as you’re doing things that you enjoy, you’re moving through this world a lot more properly than most others are.

Women are just as capable as men and you don’t need to forget that. Sure, things are getting better in regard to equality but at the end of the day, women still deal with a lot more bull than they should. If you are a female and you’re working to be who you want to be, I applaud you.
