We all go through things in our lives, some of those things are talked about and others are locked away. No matter what it is you are going through, please remember you WILL get through it.

You are trying so hard to carry on and act as if nothing is wrong and while most people cannot see it, I know you’re bursting at the seams. You feel like any moment now you will explode and everything you’ve been hiding will come out. Do not allow these feelings to consume you, I have been here before myself and I know how damning it can be.

You are stronger than you think and the problems you are facing are not as big as they seem. Everything might seem fine but you feel like you’re falling apart within. You are not wrong for feeling this way and you cannot help it. I know how afraid you are and I know how alone you feel. You need to understand that while you might not think anyone will truly understand what you are going through there are people around you who want to.

You have people to rely on if you will allow them to work as your support system, you don’t have to be as alone as you feel. As long as you are fighting and making an effort you are putting your best foot forward. I know carrying on is hard but it is something you must do. If you want to talk about it, then talk about it but you don’t have to. Nothing has to happen if you don’t want it to.

Whether you are facing a terrible situation or some kind of mental illness you have not come to terms with doesn’t matter. All that matters is that you know that you deserve to be happy even when you don’t feel like you do and that there is nothing wrong with you. Sometimes asking for help can be hard but suffering through is just as hard.

If there are negative thoughts filling your mind and you don’t know where to go from where you are, take a break. Remind yourself that even if it isn’t tomorrow, in time you will feel better. You are capable of healing.

Just because your battle is silent doesn’t make it any less real. Don’t let anyone assume they know what you’re going through. Only you know your story. You will get through this and you will be stronger for having gone through it. I believe in you.
