Modern medicine is great and all, however, it doesn’t hurt to use natural remedies along with other treatments to help alleviate and even cure disease. The Amish have understood this for quite some time, passing remedies down through their lineage.

One particular remedy they use works to help reduce cholesterol and high blood pressure, and it’s so simple!

High blood pressure plagues millions of adults in the U.S, with statistics showing that 1 out of 3 people suffers from it.

The Amish do not allow the use of modern medicine and instead rely on old-fashioned natural remedies. While this may sound odd to those of us who are not Amish, it’s important to cite the fact that the Amish have much better health than we do, with lower rates of cancer, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes.

So, before you shoo-shoo their methods, give this a try!

This recipe contains lemon juice, honey, grated garlic, grated ginger, and apple cider vinegar, all of which hold immense health benefits.

You will need:

1 tbsp of lemon juice
1 tbsp of honey
1 clover of grated garlic
1 piece of grated ginger
1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar

Place all of your ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. The mixture needs to sit in the fridge for 3-5 days. Then, simply take 1 tablespoon 2-3 times each day before eating.
