The world of photography is one with endless possibilities. Those who are skilled enough to make this kind of art, are truly amazing.

I recently came across the work a pet photographer named Seth Casteel and was blown away. This award-winning photographer clearly has quite the talent. The photo-series I found was of dogs underwater and was more than enough to put me in a better mood for the rest of my day.

Casteel’s ‘about me’ on his website goes as follows:

In February of 2012, Seth’s series of photos showcasing dogs diving into swimming pools became an Internet sensation overnight, reaching over 100 million people in less than 24 hours. People often say that Seth and Nala have similar hairstyles. If you watch Finding Fido, Seth wants you to know that his hair might be looking “a little crazy”. In his spare time, Seth enjoys taking care of his hundreds of plants, playing pinball, and brushing Baby Nala.”

To Casteel underwater dogs is more than mere ‘cute pictures’ It is an exploration of the emotions of the dogs themselves. He is clearly quite passionate about what he does and the animals that come with doing that. Dogs are to Casteel and to most of us quite inspiring.

Capturing images underwater is no simple task and Casteel makes it seem almost effortless. Chances are you may have seen a few of these circling around online actually, they have kind of taken the world by storm in many ways.
