Numerology refers to the study of numbers in our lives, and the important role that they play. They are more than just dates or addresses. Instead, each number carries a deeper meaning, an energy with the ability to influence life as we know it.

One of the most basic applications is to understand how your date of birth influences your life including your personality and natural talents.

The number is referred to by a couple different terms including your ‘birth number,’ ‘birth path number,’ and ‘life path number.’ It is a single number determined by adding together all the numbers in your birthdate. Sound complicated? It’s actually incredibly easy, even for those that may not be overly math savvy! Just follow this example:

May 7, 1980

5 + 7 + 1980 = 1992

1 + 9 + 9 + 2 = 21

2 + 1 = 3

May 7, 1980 = Birth Number 3
