Will Trump Make Good On His Promise to Find Out ‘Who Really Knocked Down the World Trade Center’

9/11 has been a controversial topic that very few politicians will discuss since it happened over sixteen years ago. However, at a campaign event in South Carolina, Trump vowed to find out who the real perpetrators of the attack were.

In Bluffton, South Carolina, Donald Trump went before a group of his followers and explained that the Iraqi’s did not knock down the World Trade Center. “We went after Iraq. We decimated the country.” He stated. Continuing, he pledged that during his presidency, if he was elected, that we would “find out who really knocked down the World Trade Center.”

“You may find it’s the Saudis,” he continued. “But you will find out.”

Furthermore, “When I look at a guy like Lindsey Graham, then I hear his theory on the war. You’ll be in there forever. And you’ll end up starting World War 3 with a guy like that.”

When the official 9/11 report was made public, 28 pages were redacted. Stephen Lynch commented on the redaction by saying, the documents “offered direct evidence of complicity on the part of certain Saudi individuals and entities,” in the 9/11 attacks.

However, now that Trump is in office, it appears that he could be the one to bring us to the precipice of World War III, due to his push against both Iran and China. What’s even stranger, is that in his immigration ban against nations he felt would pose a “terroristic threat”, Saudi Arabia was excluded. Yet when he spoke during his campaign he aimed his comments regarding who was responsible for 9/11 at the Saudis.

So, if Trump was so hell bent on making promises during his campaign, and has used various executive orders to prove his willingness to make good on said promises, why is he not looking into this? Is it that the Trump administration is doing exactly as his predecessors have done, and is cherry-picking through his promises to those which will go alongside with his own personal agenda, or the agendas of his lobby? We should obviously hope not, or we are in for yet another long 4-8 years. So what will it be, Mr. Trump? Are you willing to make good on ALL your campaign promises? For now, we will just have to wait and see.
