Climate change is quite a problem and it is becoming more and more obvious as time goes on. We are all currently being affected in different ways and in time things will only get worse.

Some places are going to experience more than others but we will all be facing something. While a lot of people think maybe they would be safest where they are is there a place on this planet that would be considered ‘safest?’ Well, to be honest, that is a hard question to answer.

Professor Lindsay Stringer from the University of Leeds told IFLScience as follows in regards to this:

“It depends how exposed and sensitive each place is, and how well it can both prepare for the climate event and deal with it afterward,”

“For this reason, it’s hard to say country X will do ok under climate change and country Y won’t.”

“Ultimately, everyone is affected.”

“those places where climate change is superimposed over other hazard risks often fare worst.”

No matter where you are, you cannot escape climate change. There are several places already severely affected. For instance, the great barrier reef, the Alps, and places like Newtok Alaska. While most would assume the US would be the safest place, it isn’t necessarily going to be. Florida is under the constant threat of climate change and we have noted several things already happening that will only be getting worse as time goes by. Some parts of the US will be fine and others, not so much.

To be completely honest, being prepared for anything is the best we can do. To learn more about this please feel free to check out the videos below. they will go over a lot more and give you a more in-depth look at where might be safer than the rest. There is no ‘safest’ place. We are all facing the problems we have caused and should do our best to make sure we make the most of the time we have. For instance, if you live in an area with more wildfires and things of the sort, prepare for them as they will only become more of an issue.
