Have you ever noticed that not very many people end up finding the ‘love of their life’ right off the bat? Most of us, if not all of us, have to go through some pretty terrible relationships before we are able to find ‘the one.’
While we want to find someone to love us we make mistakes along the way. The universe brings us to people we are supposed to learn from. Each and every failed relationship or toxic person we let get close is not going to be as bad as the last or the next, sometimes they won’t be similar in any real ways. We all have our own lessons to learn, the lessons I face might not have anything in common with the lessons you learn and that’s okay. Sometimes we just have to continue on even when we don’t feel like it.
Learning to leave people who don’t treat us properly and finding ourselves, in the end, will really benefit us on our journeys in this world. We will all go through one really monumental heartbreak at the very least and this might be what we consider to be the ‘mistake’ of our lives.
That big mistake helps us to see where we need to go and who we need to move towards. It pushes us along in a huge way. Maybe that mistake is choosing not to walk away from someone who is doing us harm. Getting attached and allowing our emotions to overshadow the importance of our well-being is something we should not do but tend to do. Why is that?
Well, it’s because the universe wants you to learn something else from this person before moving on. We are learning what love isn’t so that when the time comes to be with the right person we will know what to expect and what not to expect. Without the experiences we go through we would never be able to truly accept and understand what true love is once we find it.
Bad things are going to happen, that is inevitable but the way we react to those bad things make a difference. Every single thing we do shapes who we are and who we will be. Finding the love of your life is not going to be as easy as the movies make it out to be. It’s not going to just run up and smack you in the face, it might be a bit more confusing than you realize. We all have to face our own things before coming across it and sometimes the timing is just not right.
The universe always has our best interest in mind. The things you face are not going to break you. Finding the one will be much easier once you have learned the biggest lesson of them all after the biggest ‘mistake’ of your life. Stay strong and let things work for you, know your limits and see where things go.
