Sure, we all know that there are lots of issues within this world we call home but bringing some of those issues to light is not as simple as you might want it to be. When it comes to making people really think, we have to step outside of the box.
I recently came across some of the works of a wonderful artist named Michal Dziekan. He has a very unique style and covers topics most other people are not willing to. Through his art, he lays things out in the best way he possibly could and makes it easy to interpret for well, everyone.
His ‘about me’ on his art station profile goes as follows:
I’m Polish illustrator and character designer, born in 1985.
I used to work in film and animation as a motion artist and art director,
though, drawing and illustration were always my biggest passions.
That’s why in 2011 I decided to focus on what I love the most –
commentary, grotesque illustrations with fair dosage of black humor and twisted characters.
I drew for Disney/Hyperion, Wall Street Journal, cNet, Highlights Magazine,
American Interest, Maxim, Newsweek, DDB Warsaw, Havas Worldwide and many more.
The more of his pieces you go through the more entranced you will become. I could sit and look at his pieces for hours on end without ever getting bored. Below I am going to add in some of his more thought-provoking pieces. I for one am quite blown away.
Please keep in mind these are in no particular order, and the more you look at them the more you will see. They are without words so that you can really figure out what they mean for you. Which one are you drawn to the most?
