Everyone gets anxious or nervous from time to time. For instance, you may feel anxious or nervous before making an important decision, when faced with a problem at work, or before taking a test.

As we have already mentioned, you can experience anxiety when you behave in an apprehensive manner, like worrying about an upcoming event.

But, anxiety could be a debilitating disorder, as well. In addition, the side effects of this common disorder include an upset stomach, tingling or numbness, headaches, dizziness, and chest pain. It is actually defined as a state of apprehension or uneasiness.

It is a fact that many Americans suffer from anxiety disorders, including Chronic Anxiety Disorder. There are a number of medications out there that help alleviate anxiety symptoms. They work temporarily and often come with adverse side effects. Keep in mind that the Pharmaceutical Industry is nothing more than a money scheme.

Even though you don’t always notice it, some ordinary and strange things might help reduce the symptoms of this common health problem. Neuroscientists claim that a particular song could help decrease anxiety symptoms by up to 65 percent.

They have carried out a study at Mindlab International in the United Kingdom, which showed that a particular song could decrease the symptoms of anxiety by up to 65 percent. They wanted to find out what type of music can make people feel the most relaxed sensation. Additionally, the participants were connected to a sensor. They were asked to solve different puzzles. While the participants were doing the puzzles, they listened to many different songs. Neuroscientists recorded the rate of breathing, brain activity, blood pressure and heart rate of the participants.

Neuroscientists concluded that the song Weightless by the Marconi Union contributed to a sixty-five percent reduction in the overall anxiety of the participants.  What’s more, the participants also experienced a thirty-five percent decrease in their physiological resting rates. This song was specifically created to promote a feeling of relaxation. In order to create the song, the musicians actually teamed up with certified sound therapists.
