“It is the combination of thought and love which forms the irresistible force of the law of attraction.” – Charles Hammel
The Law of Attraction is a philosophy that centers around your ability to achieve either positive or negative experiences in your life through focus your thoughts. It revolves around the rule that ‘like attracts like,’ whatever energy you are putting out into the world will ultimately attract the same in return.
In other words, if you go through life focusing on regrets that you are holding onto in your past, or fears that you may have about your future, you will lie a life of negativity and disappointment. However, if you make an effort to see the silver lining in each situation that you are presented this will pay you back ten-fold. You will start to view your life in a positive way, experiencing feelings of happiness, fulfillment and true satisfaction.
Originally attributed to the immortal Buddha, the Law of Attraction has been around for hundreds of years. He was quoted stating that ‘what you have become is what you have thought.’ As this belief spread to other countries and cultures, including to the Western World, it was associated with a new term – ‘Karma’. It is this idea, that Karma will return to you what you put out into the world, that allows the Law of Attraction to continue to prosper in our society today.
As most people continue in their day to day routines without true considering the energy that they are manifesting, they fail to make the necessary changes in order to make this philosophy work in their own lives. Every choice you make in life is going to move you down one of the two paths, either positive or negative. You need to decide what you want to achieve in life, visualizing your goals and dreams. Always keep these ideas in the forefront of your mind, guiding your every decision. Recognize what actions are actually holding you back, and eliminate these negative influences from your life.
