PETA has been around for as long as I can remember and seems to have made quite a name for itself. And they have been the subject of controversy for awhile now.
After a more recent investigation, PETA is under fire for a lot more than just the skimpily clothed women they use when it comes to marketing. In a press release back in March of 2017 the Center for Consumer Freedom revealed that PETA actually euthanized over 1400 cats and dogs in 2016 at its Norfold, Virginia shelter. While PETA claims these actions were necessary it is obvious the lives of these animals are not important to them.
UK-based YouTube vlogger Calum McSwiggan has taken to Twitter in an attempt to bring awareness to the organization’s true colors. McSwiggan’s thread has attracted over 6 thousand likes and shares, it is still shocking those who come across it. Most people have never thought to questions the actions of PETA but now that he is standing up it seems more are opening their eyes. Take a look at some stuff from his thread below.
