This world is a scary place, that much I know is true. There are things in this world I would never want to face and do not know if I could overcome, and this is a reality we all face.
Far too many of us take this world much more seriously than we should. We live each day just going through the motions work, eat, sleep, repeat. This is only going to result in you feeling out of place. The more I talk to others the more I realize that the victim mindset is still alive and real. The victim mindset for those who might not know is a mindset that someone who goes through their lives blaming others for their actions and mistakes.
This is something that a lot of us struggle with, and the victim mindset is one we begin when we are quite young and must break free from when we are late teens. Once this phase in your life begins, you will feel like the loneliest girl in the world but you aren’t. You think that everything happening to you is much worse than the things happening to other people and 9 times out of 10, they are not. Not everything happens to you or for you, sometimes we just do our own things in life.
People who have this victim mindset tend to complain and make themselves out to be the damsel in distress no matter the situation. While some people don’t know they are doing this, a lot of them are well aware of just how manipulative they are truly being but just do not care. If you are someone who seems to have a similar mindset you need to break free from it.
In order to do this, you are going to need to meditate deeply. You will have to remind yourself day in and day out that you are not who you think you are, you are sometimes the cause of the things happening around you and just because you want to be first in line doesn’t mean you can cut. I know, bad examples but you know exactly what I mean, right?
When meditating you need to really let go of any and everything that is holding you back. You need to bring forth a vision of a white light surrounding you and pulsating through your body. This white light came from within your chakra points and is bursting at the seams.
Think of this light as it gets much stronger. This is your inner power. Use it to protect yourself from those who wish to drain you. Whenever you are feeling negative or down about yourself think of something positive within and remind yourself of that white light surrounding you. Nothing can touch you, not even your negative thoughts. You are perfect as you are.
Playing the victim gets pretty boring, you’re better off just going the extra mile to let people get to know you. Drama doesn’t have to be your life, you can exist within and without the drama. It does not define you.
You are a fierce human being and you can overcome anything this world throws your way. Please remember to save this so you can read it when you are feeling down and out. That victim mindset is all too easy to fall back into.
