Full Moon Mood Powers: How to Use Full Moon Energy to Your Advantage

Full moons happen quite frequently. We have one every single month with the exception of the occasional blue moon. Many people of all different cultures believe in the strength that comes about due to the full moon, it evokes something within each and every one of us that cannot come from elsewhere.

Below you will find a list of things you can do to harness the energy of the full moon. These things can be done during each and every full moon and in that sense are universal. With each new moon comes a rejuvenating energy. Full moons are often associated with deep inner healing and if you manage to utilize this energy properly can benefit you greatly.

Full moon energy is overwhelmingly positive despite the stigma surrounding it and making people ‘crazy.’ The full moon doesn’t make anyone crazy, it just brings about inner healing and for some it is hard to deal with. We cannot escape the effects these full moons have on us but we can work with them to benefit the most.

1. Meditate Under The Moon

Meditating under the moon allows you to really absorb all that is coming your way. When you meditate you are calming your mind and allowing these energies to work as they are supposed to work. Meditation will help you to embrace the positivity surrounding the full moon and bring about a better mindset for you on a deeper level.

2. Reflect and Let Go

Really taking the time to think back and learn from lessons of the past during a full moon is extremely beneficial to the psyche. When we reflect during a full moon and actually manage to let go of things we have been holding onto for too long we move forward in a new light. This pushes us to places we may not have been able to go before.

3. Think Positively

Positive thinking is one of the most beneficial things we can do and for some reason, it is often overlooked. When the moon is showering you with positive energy soap that energy up and let yourself enjoy it. Don’t let any negativity breakthrough.

4. Bathe In The Full Moon

Find a spot where you can lay comfortably naked under the full moon. Take this time to bask in the light of the full moon and let the energies become a part of who you are. While being naked and exposed to the moon is the best way, even spending a few hours clothed sitting under the full moon will do the trick. While this may sound silly to some of you have ever done this before you know how freeing it feels.

5. Cleanse Your Crystals

Set your crystals in the window exposed to the moonlight to recharge and cleanse them. I do this each and every time there is a full moon. It really does make a huge difference.

6. Release Pent Up Negativity

Use this energy to your advantage, let go of anything that has been holding you back. If it no longer serves you let it go. Stop giving power to things that are not a part of your life anymore.

7. Write Things Out

Write down any and everything you feel needs to be said. Once you have everything out and in the open burn it. This will also help you let go of negativity and allow you to move forward on a deeper level.

8. Take a Salt Bath

Salt is a wonderful way to cleanse the body and even the soul of unhealthy energies. Soak for about a half hour and then sit outside under the moon for a bit. This will leave you feeling far more refreshed than you could ever imagine.

9. Celebrate

Get some of your closest friends or family together and celebrate your existence. Spend time under the full moon enjoying life and dancing. The energies will be amplified if you are surrounded by those who care for you.

10. Get Organized

Spend some time getting organized. Figure out what you want to do in life and where you want to end up. These things may seem easier said than done but you can overcome anything if you are pushing yourself hard enough.
