While things are a little crazy right now, you will get through them. Sure, we can’t go out and do the things we would normally do right now, but we should still be celebrating each day before us.
Tomorrow is not promised and we need to be appreciating the day we’re currently facing because simply being alive in itself is an amazing thing. There are people in this world fighting hard to keep breathing right now, and we should be thankful that we are where we are in life. Sure, we’re stuck at home, but we have televisions, air conditioning, food, water, and most of us even have internet access.
Each morning that you wake up is a morning worth being proud of. Sure, you might be bored and you might feel like things are falling apart but as long as you’re still alive there is hope for things to get better in all possible ways. Right now the smallest things make the biggest differences and we should all keep that in mind.

1. Start looking for the positive in all situations.
While there might be a lot of things going wrong there is always something positive in every situation. Finding the positive isn’t always easy but it does always make a difference. Looking back now I am sure you can think of some positive things that have come out of terrible situations in the past.
2. Avoid over-analyzing things.
Make sure you’re active in your own thoughts. Instead of letting your mind run wild and overthink so drastically keep yourself occupied. Changing the way you think is hard but it is important. This will make a bigger difference than you might think.
3. Work to be more comfortable in your own skin.
You only get one body and if you’re not comfortable in it you’re only setting yourself up for things to be worse than they have to be. Life is short, and we should love the skin we are in. Don’t compare yourself to everyone else, they too have insecurities of their own.
4. Be more in the moment.
The fact that you woke up this morning is amazing and you should take the time to appreciate the moment for what it is. Stop and smell the roses. Life is short as mentioned above and the more you live it in the moment the better. Don’t be reckless but do make sure things that you truly enjoy are happening.
5. Take time out of your day to have a good laugh.
Laughter is extremely important. In some of the worst situations, it can keep you going. Take time out of your day to spread some cheer and have a good chuckle, it’ll make more of a difference than you think.
6. Keep in mind all the things you do have.
While there are things you don’t have and you might be struggling in some areas, you have a lot and should be proud of where you are in life. You have come a long way and the things before you will not break you. In time, you will get where you want to be.
