“You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of. You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life.”
― Albert Camus

Feeling good all the time is great and it would be awesome if we could all he ‘happy’ all the time. That being said, life doesn’t work like that. Happiness is not something to be found, it comes from within.

In life, we all need to be more focused on becoming the best versions of ourselves that we can possibly be. In becoming the best possible versions of ourselves, happiness will come. You cannot become truly happy by being so self-oriented all the time.

There is a lot to be gained through experiencing emotions other than happiness. We need to feel sadness, anger, and other things of the sort. There is a power in the negativity that can be turned into something positive.

When we suppress the bad things that happen in life we are not allowing ourselves to feel the things we need to feel. Sometimes things need to tear us apart to help build us up. Everything happens for a reason, even the bad things.

Rather than focusing on forcing happiness on ourselves, we have to work to transform the negative things into positive things. We have to look for the meaning behind everything to better ourselves. There is so much to learn from pain.

Happiness and the pursuit of happiness are not all that people make it out to be. We should not be pursuing happiness, we should be experiencing all that we can. There is no sense in trying to force yourself to feel a way that you do not feel. Happiness will come when you least expect it.

Once we truly give up the pursuit of happiness we can truly begin becoming who we were meant to be. Let go of any and everything that does not serve you. Free yourself and focus on becoming better. Help others and in doing that, help yourself.

“One of the greatest regrets in life is being what others would want you to be, rather than being yourself.”
― Shannon L. Alder

We are all capable of becoming who we were meant to be. We all deserve greatness. You can become your greatest version if you allow yourself to feel everything you were meant to feel and move on past all of the pain. While this is a bit hard to comprehend it is very important. You can be your authentic self if you truly want to.
