When it comes to NPD not many people know much about it. Sure, we can tell when someone is being a bit of a d!ck, but there is a lot more to it than that.

While no one should just go around diagnosing others, if you’ve been forced to endure some kind of connection with a true narcissist, you’ll know. More often than not those who have faced these kinds of relationships come to terms with things, after all, is said and done but if you want to be able to avoid them entirely you have to be able to look for the signs. Because of the way people with NPD act, it’s hard to pinpoint things as they are and thus make it not as easy to spot when you’re still present in their lives.

Narcissistic people are often very confident and think they are better than the people around them. They come in and sweep you off of your feet, but change entirely once they get comfortable. If you’re not giving them attention, they are not happy and being with them is complicated at best.

Below I am going to go over some signs that might indicate you’re being affected by someone with NPD right now. It’s never too late to get out if you are and the sooner you realize that the better. Narcissists are not good partners, and you cannot change them, they will remain this toxic forever, and you deserve better.

5 Signs You’re The Victim Of Someone With NPD:

1. Your emotions do not matter to this person, and he/she doesn’t care how things affect you.

This person does not care how you feel or how their actions relate back to you. They do whatever they want whenever they want, period. To them, you are nothing more than a pawn.

2. They are constantly crossing your boundaries.

This person is always crossing your boundaries and trying to see what he/she can get away with. The more you let this happen, the more they will keep at it. Your limits mean nothing to them.

3. This person is constantly picking at you.

This person wants to beat you down, and so he/she does. The more you try to build yourself up, the more he/she will tear you down. You can never seem to catch a break.

4. You’re always going out of your way to please this person, but it’s never enough.

This person wants so much from you, but is willing to give back nothing. The more you do, the less thankful he/she becomes. It’s like no matter what you’re never good enough.

5. You’re always being made out as ‘crazy.’

No matter what this person does, he or she always makes you out to be the bad guy. He/she goes out of his/her way to make you look crazy and wants you to question yourself. Even when you have proof of something, this person is quick to dismiss it, point-blank.
