Sure, we all think we know how to avoid falling for narcissists but do we really? Far too often they end up much too close for comfort.

Narcissists are people who have an excessive interest in themselves. Their sense of self-importance is inflated sometimes to an extreme level, and they crave attention from others. Narcissists go out of their way to break rules. They think that the rules do not apply to themselves. This is because they feel that they are on a different level than others.

Narcissists tend to carry all conversations they are in. No matter the topic you won’t be able to get hardly any words in. Oftentimes they will shift the conversation from the topic at hand to themselves so that they can boast about something.

3. Your partner is always trying to impress.

Narcissists are always trying to impress others. They want to be seen in a positive light. It’s as if they feel like they need to be better than everyone else.

Narcissists are very charming individuals. While eventually, their true colors will show they can still charm the pants off of most people. The mask they wear is a very good one that most cannot see through.
