11 Things That Happen To Our Bodies When We Kiss Someone:

1. Kissing can boost your self-esteem.

When someone wants to kiss us there is no denying that it’s a self-esteem boost. When we’re kissing someone who wants to kiss us we tend to feel really wanted and as we should. There is nothing like being intimate in this way with someone you’re really vibing with.

2. Kissing can be a big mood booster.

Kissing in itself releases a lot of chemicals in our brains. Most of those being feel-good hormones that really boost our moods. Chances are you know exactly what I’m talking about, you come out of things feeling as if you’re on top of the world.

3. Kissing makes you more alert.

Kissing can provide us with a lot of adrenaline and that in itself makes us more alert. You’re not on edge in a bad way but you’re more aware of the things that are going on around you. While this can be frustrating to some others really enjoy it.

4. Kissing reveals quickly whether you’re actually into someone or not.

If you’re into someone when you’re making out with them you’ll feel that spark. If you’re not feeling it, you’re not going to want to kiss that person. A kiss is a great way to figure out of you’re actually feeling something for someone or not.

5. Kissing can ignite the fire of passion within physically.

When we’re kissing someone we’re really feeling it can bring things to pretty heated space. If you’re struggling to get turned on a quick makeout session might be all you need. I know in my experience it’s more than enough to get me where I need to be in regards.

6. Kissing can reduce cramps and help with headaches.

Kissing makes us feel better on a real level and when we feel better mentally it can also help with our physical pain as well. If you’re experiencing cramps or headaches a quick makeout session could at least make things a little better. Whether it’s the serotonin or the adrenaline something really does make us feel better.

7. Kissing increases intimacy.

When you’re kissing your partner it can really help you increase intimacy. You’re able to really resonate with each other on a real level and physically be present with one another. While it might not sound like much, it’s a big deal.

8. Kissing can help you to look younger.

When we’re kissing or making out we’re exercising a lot of the muscles in our faces. This, in the end, can in some ways help us to look younger. While it’s a bit of a stretch, it’s something that makes me feel as if kissing should be happening a lot more frequently in my day-to-day life.

9. Kissing could be helping you ward off cavities.

Because kissing promotes the production of saliva it also helps get rid of bad bacteria in our mouths. This helps ward off cavities and while it won’t entirely prevent them it could make a small difference in your life. I mean who knows, perhaps a kiss a day could keep the dentist at bay.

10. Kissing can reduce stress.

As noted above kissing is a mood booster but it can also reduce stress. It will help you to be more in the moment and get your mind off of the things you’re obsessing over. Sure, it won’t last forever but it does help.

11. Kissing does in many ways burn a few calories here and there.

The more time you spend making out the more calories you’re burning. While you’re not burning the same number of calories you would be if you were actually working out, it’s worth noting. I for one think it’s a great way to burn calories on both parties ends.
