Psychopaths do a lot of things that might help you figure them out, but some of those things we for whatever reason tend to be oblivious to. It is really interesting to pick apart the ways we do and don’t notice things in current times.
Psychopaths are people who suffer from a chronic mental disorder. They are uncaring, shallow, irresponsible and so much more. They are not necessarily as outrageous as Hollywood makes them out to be but they are still people we should not allow in our lives. While you might expect them to all be criminals or murdered most are just really shitty life partners who only want to tear people down.
Below I am going to go over some of the more common things that really give them away. These signs are things that we all need to be aware of. You have to pay attention to the behaviors of those around you if you want to be sure you are keeping good company. Don’t let just anyone hang around in your life.
10 Things Psychopaths Do TO Give Themselves Away:
1. They have a highly inflated sense of self.
Psychopaths literally think they are better than everyone else around them. They feel superior to the rest of us and don’t really care what we think. They believe that they should be taken care of before anyone else.
2. They are constantly taking advantage of the kindness of others.
They expect everyone else to drop whatever it is they are doing and do what they want them to. They take advantage of everyone around them and are more than willing to use them. They take and take but are never willing to give.
3. They are very irresponsible.
They basically do whatever they want whenever they want. When they do something wrong they never own up to it and they never really follow through when they are needed. They do everything on their own time and if they don’t feel like it, it doesn’t get done.
4. They are constantly manipulating others into doing what they want them to do.
They talk people into doing things they want them to do. They will go above and beyond to manipulate others into doing their work for them. They feel as if everyone else is here to serve them in one way or another.
5. Their emotions are very shallow.
When they do show emotion it is shallow and insincere. They don’t feel things in the same ways that we do. To them everything is much milder unless it is something like anger, anger they feel deeply.
6. They don’t care about the feelings of others.
They don’t care if they upset you. They are not empathetic or sympathetic to anyone. They might pretend to care occasionally but overall you know that they just don’t really have any interest in whether or not their words or actions bother you.
7. They take a lot of risks.
They do whatever they want and don’t really look at anything as potentially dangerous. They take risks most people would not be willing to take. Nothing really matters to them.
8. They lack realistic long-term goals.
All of their goals are a bit out there. They don’t really look at the big picture. Sure, they might act like they have a long-term plan but they don’t really have it as figured out as they act like they do.
9. They do not have much self-control.
They are unable to control their anger. When something affects them in a negative way they might fly off the handle or go to extremes to get even. Self-control is not something they have very much of.
10. They are well liked.
People flock to them like they are the most interesting people in the room. They are well liked in most atmospheres and quite charming. You don’t often walk away from them without feeling like you’ve spoken to someone important.
