Weeks Five to Eight
After about five weeks of consuming no alcohol after you have regularly consumed it for some time, you’ll start to feel like you have adopted a new body. You’ll begin sleeping well every night, digesting your food better, and going to the bathroom much more regularly. You now have a much clearer complexion too. Your skin is much more hydrated and soft. You’ll also experience much more stable mood behaviors and thinking much clearer.
Alcohol causes your blood cells to become enlarged, making it much more difficult to transport oxygen around the body. After giving up the booze for twelve weeks, your blood cells will be healthier, rounder, and fully capable of efficiently transporting oxygen around the body. Alcohol can have some benefits too, but you have to drink it in extreme moderation when trying to obtain benefits from it. You also have to be very specific as to what kind of alcohol you’re drinking. Of course, the best decision, and the healthiest, is to avoid alcohol in general.
