Information is constantly coming out in regards to the technology we use most. From our smartphones to our WiFi, and well everything else. That being said, these are things we do not often hear much about, why is that?
Did you know that radiofrequency electromagnetic fields RF/EMF are listed on the same list as things like chloroform, gasoline, and lead as class 2B carcinogens? Certain exposure levels can sometimes be harmful enough to literally cause cancer. Don’t get me wrong, this is quite the controversial topic, but if you look at other countries and the way they look at cellphones and Wi-Fi you may not feel so conflicted.
For example, France passed a law back in 2015 that banned all Wi-Fi from nursery schools. This meaning it is not allowed, they even went so far as making it a law that in elementary schools when not in use Wi-Fi would need to be turned off. Wi-Fi has been removed for quite a few places in France including the French National Library.
There are laws in place for things like this in many different countries. Places like Spain, Belguim, Israel, Australia, India, and even Canada have enacted several different measures to reduce exposure to wireless radiation. These countries are cutting down for a reason, no one would go out of their way to reduce wireless radiation exposure without cause. Experimental research shows that chronic exposure to wireless actually reduces brain cells and can cause brain cell death in the memory and learning areas of the brain itself.
A study carried out back in 2011 actually found that just 50 minutes of using a wireless transmitting device near the brain would increase glucose in the area most closely exposed. It clearly has many negative effects on us and in the end will lead to something dreadful. These neurotoxic effects are nothing new, and they have been happening for some time now and are not going to be leaving anytime soon. If anything, we could see an increase in damage done with new and more innovative technologies being created as we speak.
There have been far more studies done on this kind of thing that you would think, but of course, you won’t ever hear too much about them. Making sure we are educating ourselves and those around us is the best that can be done.
