Throughout the years, various rumors have come and gone regarding Charles Manson. And while many of those have included that he was seriously ill, it appears that this time, he actually is quite ill.
According to various reputable news sources, mass-murderer Charles Manson was taken from his California prison cell to a hospital in Bakersfield, California. After he was taken to the hospital, the Los Angeles Times reported that Manson was “seriously ill.”
Due to privacy laws, the hospital was unable to confirm his health, however, Krissi Kokhobashvili, a spokeswoman for the Calfornia Department of Corrections explained, “It does happen that sometimes inmates are treated at local hospitals,” when she was asked about his status.
The Sun also reported that Manson was sick and that he had been taken to a hospital due to intestinal bleeding. While Manson had refused surgery, it appears that he changed his mind shortly thereafter, before medics decided he was unfit for surgery.
The 82-year-old mass murderer has been incarcerated for quite some time, and a source close to his situation told TMZ that his “health was failing.” Of course, due to his age, and incarceration, it is likely that he may not make it. And while the rumor mill has been spouting this for years, it seems that this time it is actually likely.
