This world is far more marvelous than most people care to stop and realize. Everything around us is so much more than we could ever deserve.

TSO Photography took the time to film quite a video showing us just how wonderful this place we live on and universe we live in truly is. Over the course of seven days back in 2011, TSO Photography was able to spend some time on Spain’s highest mountain. You see, El Teide is one of the best locations ever to photograph stars, it is so amazing that there is even an observatory there.

While the goal was to capture the Milky Way galaxy in all of its splendor even the mountains and trees seem to be mesmerizing. According to the photographer, this was one of the most exhausting trips he had ever been on. There was tons of hiking and almost no sleep during the whole trip.

“The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness.”
― John Muir

Nature has a wonderful way of moving people. When we truly allow ourselves to slow down and see the world for what it is we begin to learn more about ourselves. Watching the time-lapse this photographer created made me feel extremely small and helpless in this world but it also made me feel amazing and grateful that this planet is what I call home. There is so much to explore and we are so tiny in this universe. We are nothing more than specks.

“Heaven is all around us. All we need is perception; to extol the melodies of Nature’s orchestra.”
― Anurag Shourie

This beautiful planet is filled with questions and we are not stopping long enough to hear the answers. This place is clearly ‘heaven’ on Earth and after seeing this I will definitely be planning a trip in the future. Life is truly more beautiful than I can find the words to speak. Please check out this amazing time-lapse and really let it send you a message. We have so much to learn from this world.
