As we grow older in this world, we are supposed to learn lessons in life. The more we learn, the more we are able to mature as people.

Some people start out a lot more mature than others, but we can all become as mature as the rest with a little work. We all experience different things in life and everything we do has a consequence. Sometimes the consequences we face are hard to deal with and can be quite painful but in the end, going through these things helps us to become a better version of ourselves.

Once you begin to mature, you stop giving a lot of the F*@ks you once gave. Some of those will be harder to let go of than others, but if we stop giving them things will go over a lot more easily. Below you will find a list of these ‘F*@ks’ we should not give. If you are someone who is hung up on any of these things you should work on letting go of them. Moving on will benefit you greatly.

19 F*@ks You Should Stop Giving as You Mature as A Person:

1. Stop giving a F*@k about being right all the time.

When we mature as people we begin to stop caring about whether or not we are right. We find that learning is never over. Even when we think we are right, sometimes we are wrong, so remember that we are all wrong at times. That is just a part of life.

2. Stop giving a F*@k about whether or not you are ‘good enough.’

When we mature as people, we realize that being ‘good enough’ is not possible in all situations. We are good enough if we believe we are. If someone else doesn’t think we are good enough, that is their problem, not ours.

3. Stop giving a F*@k about the things you regret.

When we mature as people, we learn that the things we regret should not hold power over our lives. Sure, we should learn from our mistakes, but we shouldn’t dwell on them for the rest of our lives. Moving on from the things we regret is important.

4. Stop giving a F*@k about the past.

When we mature as people we also realize that getting over any issues from our past is crucial. We can’t move forward without moving on. The past is in the past and we should keep it there.

5. Stop giving a F*@k about material possessions.

When we mature as people we do still want material things, but we don’t give a fuck about having the newest smartphones or the most expensive things in life. We realize that material possessions are not what our lives should revolve around.

6. Stop giving a F*@k about whether people like you or not.

When we mature as people we realize that whether other people like us or not does not matter. We live our lives and do the things we enjoy. The only thing that matters is how we think about ourselves and whether we like ourselves. If you are content with who you are F*@k everyone else.

7. Stop giving a F*@k about being popular on social media.

8. Stop giving a F*@k about the people who want to bring you down.

When we mature as people we stop giving power to those people who are constantly working to bring us down. These are the people who are always criticizing us and making us feel like crap. If you refuse to let them make you feel like crap things will be a lot easier.

When we mature as people we don’t waste our time trying to get revenge on others. We understand eventually that getting even is not as important as it used to seem to be. 11. Stop giving a F*@k about the things you want but don’t have.

When we mature as people we stop obsessing over the things we want. We really begin to see that the things we have now are enough. Don’t get me wrong, if we truly want something we will go out and get it but if it isn’t that important we don’t spend too much time thinking about it.

14. Stop giving a F*@k about what other people think.

When we mature as people we don’t waste our time thinking about what people think about us. The only thing that matters is what we think about ourselves. We are not defined by what other people think.

15. Stop giving a F*@k about looking perfect.

When we mature as people we stop worrying about whether or not we look perfect. We get over the idea of having a perfect body or being pretty. Sure, looks matter but becoming more mature involves understanding that there is a whole lot more to it than that.
